Celebration Sunday

The annual Suzanne Aubert/Meri Hōhepa Celebration Sunday will again be held on the first Sunday in October (3 October). It’s a really important opportunity for all Catholics to reflect on the life of this remarkable woman and be inspired by her spirituality and good works.  It also allows us to collectively pray for her Beatification. As with previous years, all parish priests will receive a letter from their bishop confirming the arrangement and approval of the day from the Bishops’ Conference, and parish promoters will be updated on materials that are available. We have produced some new promotional material for use on Celebration Sunday including a poster in various sizes, to replace the current display material.  We will also be producing a short video presentation to be played at Masses in churches that can play it, or to put on their Facebook page. More details details on that closer to the big day. If you would like an advance copy of the new poster or more prayer cards for use at your church, please get in touch with Sister Josephine Gorman ([email protected])
